Toddlers Child Care in Forrestfield WA

Little Beginnings Toddlers Child Care
(2-3 years)

The toddler years are where everything starts to click. First words turn into conversations, wobbly steps become confident movement, and curiosity seems to grow by the minute. Our toddlers child care program is designed to support this exciting stage, giving your child the space to explore, express themselves, and build confidence in a safe, nurturing environment.

At Little Beginnings, we care for toddlers aged 2–3 years through a play-based learning approach guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) that encourages children to discover their own interests and strengths. Rather than simply keeping children occupied, every experience is thoughtfully guided to support their rapid cognitive, social, and emotional development.

More than simple childcare: early learning in action

Our program goes beyond traditional day care, focusing on early education through purposeful play.

Whether it’s building, painting, role-playing, or group activities, each experience is designed to help your child develop communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and emotional awareness. As toddlers begin to concentrate, experiment, and interact more with others, our educators gently guide these moments into meaningful learning opportunities.

It might look like simple play on the surface – but underneath, your child is learning how to share, express ideas, and navigate the world around them which will have a big impact when they start preparing for school.

Supporting growing independence

One of the biggest shifts during the toddler years is the desire for independence. You’ll start to notice it in the little things; wanting to feed themselves, make choices, or saying “I do it.”

We embrace this stage by encouraging children to take part in daily routines and make choices throughout the day. With the support of caring educators, toddlers begin to build confidence in their abilities while learning important life skills like cooperation, patience, and self-regulation.

Building a strong foundation for the years ahead

The toddler stage is a powerful window for growth. With the right support, children begin to build the skills that set the foundation for future learning, from communication and confidence to independence and social connection.

Our toddlers childcare program offers more than supervision. It’s a space where your child can explore freely, learn naturally, and grow into a confident, capable learner.

If you’re looking for a childcare environment where your toddler is truly supported, guided, and understood, we invite you to book a tour and see the difference for yourself.
